BackgroundN1 is an Icelandic energy, fuel, and service station company. The client wanted to preserve N1’s established logo and signature red, which stands out in the Icelandic market. Changing the logo would require costly signage replacements across all stations in Iceland.

GoalEnrich the visual world around the logo with a motion-driven identity system that not only strengthened N1’s visual presence, but also delivered a consistent narrative and emotional connection across all touchpoints.

ConceptMove. Pause. Enjoy. is a simple yet powerful reminder that life isn’t just about getting from A to B, but also about everything in between. It speaks to the rhythm of all of life’s journeys, embracing the movement and the pauses.

It mirrors the Icelandic way of life:
Purposeful, present, and in tune with nature’s pace.
