LIFE ❤️ FUSION

There are two sides to everything. Every dish has a counterpart. Every track has a flip side. One never outshines the other—only completes it.

Concept scketches for music + animeGenerated by AI

Background
It began as a valentines gift to Nicho, just a set of sketches, because I’m poor and time put into design was the most valuble and fun thing I could give. From there, it turned into a shared project we build on together over time.

Consept Just like a record, a meal, or a love story, SONIC GASTRONOMIC plays best when both sides spin in harmony. It lives in the tension and tenderness between two sets of minds, palettes, rhythms and plates.

Together, Nicho and Ida create magic in the kitchen that no solo performance can match—a true celebration of our shared love for design, music and cooking.

Inspired by city pop and jazz, we generated music and anime-style visuals to complement our dishes.

The animes was built using AI and footage from our camera roll as a base. In “Dumpling Girl,” there’s a glitch in the end where her head pops inside the dumpling, a surreal detail that somehow just works.
In a final version, sound, illustration and animation artists would step in, bringing with them the human richness and beautiful imperfections that only people can create.

The restaurant would be tucked away in a grungy garage, using materials like recycled plastic, repurposed just like the space itself. Rough-edged on the outside, with beauty, taste and sound waiting to be discovered on the inside.

Lyrics would roll across screens in sync with the music, creating a full sensory experience as each complementary dish would be served.

Jacket inspired by car mechanic’s uniform, crafted from heavyweight recycled canvas, each unique in tone and texture, like samples in a song or ingredients in a dish.
