Background
Carita and I went to Berlin for the Red Dot Award. With Valli’s blessing I stayed and worked remotely for a couple of weeks. Between work and walks, I picked up what the streets offered.

Gold
Carita, my project manager, was the real hero of the Canadian Seafood Treasures story. She made every idea possible, kept the project running across multiply continents, and made sure it stayed within budget.
After I had finished my creative part, she quietly went ahead and sent the work to the Red Dot Awards. In a tough time for the creative industry, that win felt especially meaningful.
STREET WALKS
Playdough
At Modulor I picked up a Pelikan stamp pad and ink, a German stationery brand dating back to 1838. With playdough I pressed ornaments and signs on my walks, labeling each with the street address where I found it.
