Carita, my project manager, was the real hero of the Canadian Seafood Treasures story. She made every idea possible, kept the project running across multiply continents, and made sure we stayed within budget. After I had finished my creative part, she quietly went ahead and sent the work to the Red Dot Awards. A few months later: gold.
In a tough time for the creative industry, that win felt especially meaningful. Carita and I flew to Berlin for the award show, and with Valli’s blessing, I stayed and worked remotely for a couple of weeks.
